Stunning. Being in AZ I am partial to the dirtied look of the sandtrooper, but that glossy finish is gorgeous.

It looks fantastic but if this legend version also is only available from eFX directly its too pricey for EU customers with these horrible shipping quotes and custom taxes. I really hope eFX will offer them for every one available.

Nice helmet but like my fellow germans i might stay away from it because of the ridiculous high s/h cost plus custom fees!

Just when I didn't want to buy anymore helmets, I'm still saving up for my eFX Vader, I'm going to have to start saving up for this too.

Did anyone find out how much they are going to cost?

Did you read the part where it said that bucks were made from the INTERIOR of one of the known screen-used Hero helmets? In other words, it might be missing a few tells because it's made with the same method as the originals, from a near-exact replica of the original bucks, but with modern tech and plastic, which means that it's less of a replica and more of a reproduction. There wouldn't be any tells on it if it were produced fresh as this one is.

I'll third this. eFX should try and offer some of these to local dealers in EU and other parts of the world, thus allowing international customers having a chance at these and not pay outrageous shipping by GreedEx and also the import and customs taxes and VAT charges (if sold by local EU dealers there is no import/customs charges).

If eFX will not consider these for international customers then I'll be totally happy with my upcoming SiMan ANH Stunt and CfO ROTJ, and the other helmets I have.

Its not missing any tells. At this point there have been no modifications at all. Just purely a prototype done from the molds eFX took from the inside of the helmet.
BTW the plastic is too shiny on this prototype. The production helmets will be ABS

Green lenses... Ha! I knew it!

I posted about the green lenses a few years ago when I was playing around with screencaps in Photoshop.

This is simply fantastic news! Finally a 'Hero' helmet molded from an original source and reproduced with the same materials. I never thought I'd see the day when we would get props molded from the originals. First the Legend Vader, then the Siman 'Stunt', and now a 'Hero'....wow!

Just restating what others have said the plastic on the prototype looks a little too shiny.

Yeah, never thought I'd be getting another Trooper bucket but looks like this will be one to get if it's done right.

:thumbsup eFX for starting to accurately reproduce props to the screenused brethren.

Jez at starwarshelmets.com has showed many pictures -he also sawed the helmets in person- of grey bouble lenses on the TIE and AT-AT helmets, so it must be two versions then.

Hopefully eFX will have a bigger run of this than the Vader Legend.

I agree I never thought I would see myself buying yet another trooper lid but this may change things.

Bring on a TIE and an ATAT helmet as well.
