A customer of CostumeJunkie - Edward Pugia, contacted me to help them because he was told by Edwards Father through email, that Ed had been killed in an automobile accident a few months back and he was cleaning up all his pending issues. I dont know if this is true or not, so I am asking if anyone here knows if this is fact or no? Thanks...

I tried to google search and couldnt find anything on this?

He has ebay feedback as a buyer from 9 April. Dunno.

Yes , Edward was killed last month I believe. I had emailed him last week with some questions and his uncle said it happened a few weeks back. They will be shutting down his site as soon as the loose ends are tied up.

He was a great guy to deal with.

He is on Facebook, and Ebay...he never gave me my suit and then "his Dad" replied to my email saying he was killed. In an email it could be him saying it was his dad. Is it illegal for him to do this? Isn't that stealing?

Illegal to steal? Yes. Illegal to be dead? No.
Right this minute he's on facebook and eBay?
He's pulling a poor scam on you if he's still on both and dead at the same time.

Laffo.

This is what an Edward C. Pugia posted YESTERDAY on facebook:

"Ok, only 12 more hours and I beat the curse of dying at age 44 and being healthy !!!!"

I make no claims that this is the same person, and have no evidence it is.

Funny thing is...there was more Ebay activity on July 18th...he bought male enhancement drugs! Maybe stealing isn't his only problem.

Im very curious, is he dead or alive? As for Ebay, people hack accounts all the time, it happened to me. Someone took my original Ebay acct I opened in 99 I didnt use it for a few years and when I went back I couldnt log in and then looked it up and sure enough I was getting new feedback. When I emailed them and asked for my account back they closed it.

Im not saying this is the case here but people are dicks.

He is not dead. His facebook wall states he is a guitar freak and in a band. If I remember correctly on his website (now gone) he had a "Now considering trades" and on that page he had guitars and amps and all sorts of band equipment he was looking for in trade for items listed on his site. So put two and two together you come up with is he faked it. If he owes you a suit then I would suggest you contact him and threaten legal action and also tell him in a email you have the email that said he was "dead" which would mean he tried faking his death to get away from having to complete deals which is stealing.
Under "friends" on his facebook page there is a person wearing a stormtrooper armor and he used to sell high priced armor on ebay all the time.

I thought being dead gave you a permanent stiffy...guess i was wrong :lol

I'd be suspect about the death story.

Years ago (2004ish), I bought my Vader leather suit and boots from him.
All was cool up front; but the stuff was delayed and I had to start writing him.
I do not recall how long the stuff was delayed, but it did eventually come.

There were some issues with the suit I pointed out to him.
THe only way he'd make good was if I sent it back first...I ended up living with the issues...wasn't risking not having the suit made correctly vs not having one period.

I have heard thru the grapevine over the years of other issues.

If he has indeed passed, may he rest in peace.

For DEAD guy he seem pretty active...

He is posting on SFH as of TODAY... Should we remove him?

Has he ripped anyone off that we know of for sure?

We can't remove him from SFH until he actually does something that violates SFH's policies and rules. We have a "Fresh Start" policy for all new members. The only caviot to that is if he was convicted of an actual crime.

Following in the footsteps of the great death faking scammers like Wolf Morgan and Greg Stone.....Ive said it before...there is a pathology at work here....

Wow. that's really dumb. Best of luck to you and your forum members when pathological scam artists start preying on them. I'm sure they'll be comforted by the fact that they were given a "Fresh start". :rolleyes

Agreed. sounds like Epic Failure in the works, Im sure that folks like Raz, Stone, Morgan and others appreciate this fresh field to plow....
