ed 209 dimension question

Notice that in some of the pics the full sized mockup seems bigger than in others? Were they able to adjust the height? Some he looks to be about 6' tall and other he looks a bit bigger.

Looking at those photos, it definitely looks taller than 6 feet. The one at Phil's just didn't look that big, it was in his living room, and most of the houses in North-oakland/Berkeley only have 7 foot ceilings, so it wouldn't even fit.

Now I definitely need to talk with my friend- It's going to bug me if I don't find out !

lol. I'd say he was 7' at least maybe bigger at the top of his dome. The one Phil has may have been used in other shots when a larger one wasn't needed.

That's what I'm thinking. Man I have no clue how to even make half those shapes. It's going to take alot of sculpting and casting.

Good photo references and templates. You could also scale up from the Horizon kit.The Horizon kit is fairly acurate in shape/size,but lacking in details.

I was thinking that. I keep finding knockoffs of the kit on ebay. i'd love the hot toys if it wasn't 600.00. There is a 3" japanese one i want but those are 80.00 half the time. Which is lame as the robocops in the line are only 20.00.

I've built a Horizon ED and have an extra I can take measurements off of. I may just go ahead and start drawing out all the basic shapes as well. LMK if I can help out Wes.
