Hello All,
I have been trying to work out how to make these two pistols for about 8 months now to no avail. However I believe I may have nailed it, I haven't quite started though I have ordered an air soft Desert Eagle since the Pistols in this game are based off of the 50 caliber Desert Eagle. What I am going to do is use Smooth-on Task 16 to make a rubber cast then mod it to the likeness of the pistol seal it and then make a mold of that to make Some Resin cast sets. My question is this Does anyone know where I might be able to find a good reference photo of the design on the pistols? I have not been able to find a clear referrence anywhere. Also any input or advice is much appreciated. ^_^ I'll be posting pics when I get my mats and get this started.

Depends on what you are looking for. You can download the models from the game and view them in a 3d program for some really clear shots.

How would one download the models from the game, you mean from the disc? are you speaking of the actual data? I need the pattern for the the engraving on the barrel.

I think I may have figured it out I just inverted the image to be a negative. Ebony-and-Ivory-devil-may-cry-5-29477995-1024-691.jpg

Here someone has ripped the models from the game and put them up for download. That plus any of a number of free 3d modeling program that support the enclosed file types, in this case .mesh files, can display the model up close and in good lighting.

Or you can just open the textures and have nice big flat images to trace the etching from.

Good lord sir you are amazing! I appreciate that so very much. Ill post a picture of how its going this weekend hopefully I haven't had much time to work on it lately.

If you get standard desert eagle airsoft guns at walmart you can gently cut the handles and fill them with clay to make the shape right886015_10151568169445120_1487831487_o.jpg
this is what i did and it worked great!

Ill post a pic when I get home today. Apologies on the delay I get so little time to work on these with my day job and all. Also. I do have some additional questions though, I recently purchased a vacuum chamber from smooth-on, the 5 gallon aluminum one, however they do not sell vacuum pumps for it, I've looked over the faqs, and requirements for it at smoothon.com however they do not list a good place to get a pump, would I be okay just getting an air compressor? Another thing I was curious about, would anyone have a link to a site where there is a good tuturial on ripping digital image files from games ect. much obliged and I will post pics tonight promise.

uploadfromtaptalk1396912994131.jpg here you go, I used foam to give the point shape then covered it up with apoxie sculpt. I'm going to apply some bondo to it tonight.
