I have finally finished my E11 on a budget project and I am happy enough with it to show a few pics here.
It has taken a while to get it together and there was no way i could of finished it without the help/suggestions of a few members here so a massive thanks to everyone who has helped :cool and even more thanks go to tango'd fett for a great t-track suggestion :thumbsup.
As the title suggests it is a "budget" project so the actual cost of it ..... £12 including the paints and glues so i am quite proud of it as my first build :)

nice... do you have a breakdown on what the parts are and how much hey cost... since you mentioned it of course! :)

Yea ill try to remember what i used..
plans downloaded from the net ... thanks to whoever put them online in the first place (iambubby ??)
32mm PVC pipe : about £1.50 for 2m from B&Q.
various bits of thin sheet metal: front off and old electric heater... free.
various bits of alloy (for stock and trigger) : old road sign that someone creamed in the snow.. free (well cold feet from going to get it) :confused.
small "finder" scope from a kids telescope kit and the spikey part from the bottom of a firework to make the scope.. free.
alloy bar from B&Q for scope rail : about £2.
E-track (for sliding glass doors i think) from B&Q : about £4.
3 x 2p & 2 x 1p pieces for the muzzle : 8p from my natwest piggy (yea i know im a sad case).
wood for grip: free from the garden where it fell off the neighbours fence in the wind lol.
rear "cap" : cap from savlon spray bottle with the stock retainers moulded from epoxy putty.
Epoxy putty : £1 from poundland store.
couple of cans of black spray paint : £1 each from poundland again
Superglue : £1.
LED's in stand : old seatbelt light from the junk drawer in the kitchen.
batteries for LED's in stand : 50p
Bits of old hoover pipe for the stand: from my junk pile.
some citadel acrylic paints foor the weathering i had from my days painting miniatures.

I think thats everything :confused

I have found pics of various stages of the build that i didnt know i still had ... DOH! so here they are hopefully in order..

i would like at some point to maybe attach a hengstler etc but unsure if i would be able to make them from scratch... who knows.

That's amazing (especially for the price)! Well done sir, well done. Did you build the stock? I didn't see that in your parts list.

I observe that it's at least a 16 cigarette problem...lol

Nice work, very admirable to build a gun like this from scratch these days.

Very good.

I did indeed build the stock it was made from an old road sign that someone creamed in the snow i think i did list it but my brain has been frozen lately so might not have lol

Thanks for the kind comments i know it isnt screen accurate but im happy and it should go down well when im out with the mkgarrison raising funds for gt ormond st childrens hospital ... combining my love for SW and a great cause.

I am looking into putting some LED's into the scope on this and i was wondering had anyone made a cast of a hengstler in 2 parts as i would like to fit a 9v battery inside there, i could put the battery inside the mag but i think it would look better with the wires coming out of the hengstler and possibly trigger touch activation so it only glows when a micro switch on the trigger i pressed, any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.
The t-track was actually E-track (the stuff used for sliding glass cabinet doors) with the sides cut off it (thanks to tango'd fett for the idea) which was very inexpensive from B&Q (diy store if youre not in the uk).

Very cool. I'm looking for a good way to mass produce these for a film project and this will come in handy. Thanks for sharing.
