E-11 model "x" - A BlasTech Case Study (pics intensive)

due to the massive amount of work and time involved in that project I don't think I'll make an other one (sorry :unsure)

@Madcow : the use of the real parts, and almost 100% metal in general make the blaster look and feel just "real". I thought the use of an alu body will decrease the effect but no, it's heavy and feels like a real weapon. The fact the bolt still cocks and produces some noises + fx is very realistic too.

Yeah, it´s a real wow. :cool

Not the electronics - we all know he´s good at that. But the metalwork, too.

And the main-wow: The speed. :confused

At first I was thinking why are you ruining it with all the little doo-dads, but what you have done is pretty cool.

A very nice build. Amazing and excellent work Erv!
My DC-17m project never reached this quality. :angel

WELL DONE man ! ! ! :love

I'm nearly speechless... That is an amazing work and with all big and little details one of the best E-11 I've ever seen!!!

I'm not often jealous but I wish I had your talent... ;)

But... some weathering would be compleate this one... :thumbsup

thanks a lot ! I keep in mind all the remarks about the wheatering, I might dry brush a few edges at the end once the scope is installed ! :thumbsup

Not every E-11 in the Empire would be weathered. Some would have been pristine. :lol

Again,..WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best E-11 ever :eek

an blaster with an crystal chamber ! just epic !

very nice detail work Erv´ congrats :thumbsup

:love want have one :rolleyes

thanks folks !

Finished my galv-etched plate. My first attempt to etch an aluminium plate with the new film. Still need some improvements, photo film transfer had minor dents and permanent marker doesn't resist to the galv-etching process. Will make a better one next time.
Signing the plate isn't a sign of being egocentric, but just a convenient way to hide one of the dents ;)

I am jealous...
It's illegal for me to have or use real parts from deactivated guns... :cry
Had to scratch build every single one on mine...

Anyway, this is a Super-Cool Blaster!

I believe is the best Blaster with electronics, ever made from a Sterling parts kit! :thumbsup

And there is no reason to weather such beauty!!!
