DW New Series Silurian

Hello to ya all!

Since my Davros mask is waiting for materials to mold, I decided to fill in my schooltime with sculpting a Silurian head, as seen in Cold blood.

I still have a whole way to go for my progress, but just couldn't wait for uploading pics. This is just the beginning. I'm a bit new in the sculpting world, so some tips wouldn't be bad.

Very nice. I did wonder if someone was going to tackle this. You going to do the mask too? Definitely looking forward to seeing progress made on this.

Thanks for the compliment War Machine! That gives me somewhat more enthusiasm.

I'm planning to do this part of the mask first, then see if i can sculpt something as nice as seen in the series for the ''gas mask''. I'm not so sure about doing the rubber face mask. It's always a hell of a work to get them nice....

Neill Gorton sculpted the orignal cowls and that looks very close to the one Richard Hope wore, if you do the Bio mask, let me know as that was a joint sculpt by Rob Mayor and myself so i have some pics

Whow that's terrific!

Some pics of the bio would always be handy! How can I get them?

I wondered what kind of differences there were between the cast's headmasks. I've only seen one and that's the finn between the middest part at the back. The tan sculpts I've seen at confidential (where you see 4 of them with each other.) look the same, but they've got different faces. Are the tan ones I've seen the base for other sculpts?
