Hi,
I'm fascinated by BB, especially Jeff Goldblum's character ´New Jersey´. I thought it would be fun to assemble and make the iconic costume. My first question is whether the red shirt with the front application is available commercially? I'm probably just lacking specific vocabulary to specify my searches.

Secondly, what would be the specific name of the type of hat he is wearing?
The trousers seem to be black jeans with red stitching.
chaps look like they are white cowhide, could possibly be replaces with another type of fur (I'm thinking cheap IKEA sheepskin rug for a first iteration)

That style of shirt is called a "bib front shirt" or just a "bib shirt"

That's an interesting question. He has a center crease but no side dents, which is an uncommon combination. The closest bash style is the Carlsbad, but with a less severe angle. The brim is unbound, and had a pencil roll edge, at least out of the box. You want a tall and straight crown. You'll want top buy it open crown (no dents) and shape it yourself.
