Durability test with Halo plasma pistol

I have been playing with pvc sheets. The kind you get at the lumber yard or big box store. They sell them as pvc decking, trim, etc. I've started using it in my carving machine and thought I would give the material a durability test.
I devised a simple test.
I carved up and painted a rough model of the Halo covenant plasma pistol and have given it to the 9 year old boy next door. I will take a look at it after the weekend and will know everything I need to about it's durability.

I like it! The metallic paints work well on this!
