Interest Dune Thumper in Metal

That would be awesome! I've wanted one since I first read the books in the 80's. I think, even for it's flaws, the production design on the new Dune movies is brilliant!!!
This I can do for you easily. Let me work out the costs and we can do a run.

- Which version of the thumper are you going to do? The 1984 version or the new one?
- Is it going to have moving parts?
- Will it mimic the action of the thumper as seen in the movie with electronics?

Will it be made hollow so we can add the movement with a linear servo and an Arduino?

Would you be able to do anodized matted aluminum?
Getting some details sorted with the machinists. They have a bunch of questions lol
Current prototype is being done with black anodized aluminium. Will post pics soon as I can. They are in progress, just taking more time than I expected.
