wow that looks amazing!! are going to post how you did it? me and a friend where want to take a stab at making one, so I would love all the help I could get!!
 
Looks nice but why are the aluminum parts so shiny? Also why is the are around the arms not white?

I take it you're not going weather him. :lol
 
Looks like an R2 unit that just came off the factory line, Wonderful work (chrome on the front gives it it's own original feel.)
 
Goodness that is beautiful! Love the look of a brand new R2 unit, that is seldom seen. I would love one, not sure if I would want to pay that much though (in both time AND money!)

Love the polished ALU. I went for the natural machined finish on my droid. I didn't have the energy to make the parts as gorgeous as yours. Great work!
 
It's my dream to build one of these one day. How much would you estimate all the parts cost you?
