Droid Caller : Linhof or Kobold?

I'm thinking about selling my original Linhof in my "30 Days of Christmas" sale but when I started to research the prop I discovered that it is believed that a Kobold flash was used.

Has this ever been proven to be an absolute?

If so I guess my Linhof isn’t worth that much???

Iirr both were used - Kobolds for Han, and a Linhoff for the Jawa at the sale scene at the Skywalker farm. Not sure about the one Luke used in his maintenance shed.

The Linhof is a good alternative. Its apparently the same manufacturer, just a different label. However it requires a few mods like the removal of the square mount piece on the bottom and the addition of the black crinkle paint (which you have done).
There is version of the Kobold that is perfectly screen accurate as is.

I have a Linhof myself as my ANH Han droid caller.
