I think "Drive-2011" is somewhat of an homage to "The Driver-1978", but when a movie like "Taken 2- 2012" comes out only a year later, that isn't what I consider homage. Is "Dantes Peak-1997" an homage to "Volcano-1997"? lol

I never saw Taken 2, but loved the first Taken. The previews didn't interest me. I figured it was just everything in Taken all over again, sort of an "homage" if you will, kinda like Die Hard 2. lol

Besides listening to the Drive soundtrack on a regular basis, one of the other songs I love listening to Daemon Hatfield - In Fact It Was You , which is thanks to the following music video.

Youtube user Slymansworld33 made this music video in 2012 and I've watched it repeatedly since then. The music compliments the feel of the movie very well. Check it out. The video is not in HD, but still is good enough for viewing.

I recently went to Youtube to look up on that user to see his other videos and found out that he made couple more Drive music videos, along with more many music videos based on other movies.

This video also uses music by Daemon Hatfield - Good Morning California. This is another great song, that blends well with the movie. This is available in HD.
