Also, I have a small request. We are now nearing 40 signups and since there are several LG projects going, I'm pretty sure that a few folks are on several interest lists. Now, since Shawn has graciously agreed to cast this run I don't want him gearing up for a huge run of these needlessly and maybe end up with a ton of unneeded resin or something, so I kindly ask everyone on the list to make sure you are still seriously interested in this run. I'm not asking for a firm commitment, but I can't ask Shawn to build the thing and make molds if we only end up with a few people on the list when time comes for payment. No need to reconfirm here- just let me know if you are NOT interested any longer.
One the gun is ready for molding, commitments, final costs and payments will be firmed up. This will be some time after mid-march I reckon.
Note: for those that want, I will try to arrange a personalized serial number plate as promised in the build thread.

List updated. We are still waiting for Shawn to get his print so that he can start molding. Also, for those that want to mod their casts with lights I will be making the clear ammo status plate available on my Shapeways page. Can't say how easy it will be to mod it just yet but folks here are pretty darn resourceful when it comes to that!
Actually... I'll probably try to include the whole screen bezel as a separate piece in the print of the screen. That way you can safely bore out a suitably large hole in the cast and just glue a new bezel in place! (Note however that the extra printed plates are separate orders and not included in the solid cast run, but it will be an option for those that really want it.)

Man, this is (in terms of people signed up) the largest prop project I've been involved with on the RPF. It's an honor that so many are interested in one of these. can't wait until Shawn gets his hands on the print so he can start his mold making magic!

A display screen label can be arranged- at the very least digitally for everyone to print. Not sure yet about the clear screens for inside the magazine but I would imagine that something could be arranged. Shawn will (hopefully, crossing fingers, barring any delays) have the master print some time this coming week and then he'll get to work on it and we'll sort any of the finer details.

We're having a bit of bad luck with delivery delays as we were expecting to have it by now. It will hopefully be in Shawn's hands just after the weekend! Crossing fingers. Inthe meantime I will keep toiling away at my hero version.
