Dallas Fan Expo announced that Tom Sturridge (Dream), Mason Alexander Park (Desire) and Jenna Coleman (Johanna Constantine) were going to be guests, so I decided I would put together a Dream cosplay to meet them.
For the pouch of sand, I altered a dice bag slightly and 3D printed the beads using a mixture of some of my own models and Mystery Makers files.
The Dreamstone necklace was also made using files from Mystery Makers. The ruby was printed in clear resin that was tinted red. The frame was printed in resin and then painted with Alclad Chrome and a yellow alcohol ink.
The helmet was also Mystery Makers files. Due to it's size, I outsourced the main part of the helmet to be resin printed in one piece. I printed the front bones and attachment on my resin printer. The lenses were also printed by me with tinted resin. All finishing work was also done by me.
The costume was from one of the Chinese cosplay stores - it's the more "formal" costume that Dream wears, so no real progress photos of this. But here is a couple of shots of me and my friends and the photo op we got with Tom, Mason and Jenna. As a bonus, Tom signed the inside of my helmet!
