This is going to EXTREMELY crowded at that time. I'd recommend some other time, if you want a place to sit down and hang out. Tons of people go to the food court right after the parade.

For those looking to meet Nimoy, I've got some bad news. He's cancelled. I just found out through my dad, who was hoping to get to meet him and get either a photograph or picture with him. In fact, it was the main reason why we were going. But since Nimoy has cancelled we're still going (as we've already paid for the tickets and booked the hotel). Who knows, maybe he'll find someone else whose autograph or picture he may want to get.

Also, I don't know if I'll be wearing my "Death Shroom" T-shirt, as I can't remember what box I put it in. However, I will be wearing my Midnight Riders T-shirt (from Left 4 Dead 2) during one of the days.

I'll be there as will my Boyfriend Evil FX. We will be donning our N7 suits Saturday night. I'm also in a Stargate Group on Sunday.
 
First D/con visit from across 'The Pond' (Atlantic, not Amy!). Will be in either of my movie cop costumes; Walking Dead Sheriff or Gotham City Police Officer. Look forward to meeting lots of new, like minded U.S. guys and girls.

Since you're wearing N7 costumes Saturday, you may already know this, but a few of my good friends are taking part of a Mass Effect photoshoot/meetup Sat night (6ish) at the Marriott bottom floor.
 
Can't believe I'm missing it. It's the first time in 11 years I won't be there and there are some AMAZING guests coming this year. I hope everyone has a blast that's going! Should be a great time!
 
Never been to one!! But love how much people dress up at this convention! Would be nice if as many people dressed this much at the SDCC! Have fun to those attending!!
 
I'm excited (and nervous) to be a panelist for the first time this year. For any of you Harry Potter fans, I'll be discussing creating "bad guy" costumes during the Potter costuming panel on Saturday @ 5:30 pm. You'll find the listing for it under the Young Adult Lit track. Hope to see some of you there!

I've been an R2 builder for some time, but am new to these forums. Now that my R5 is nearly done, in addition to building another one I wanna branch out into doing other props. I'll be at the R2builders table! Hope to meet you all there! :D

WOW! Your R5-X2 is remarkable! I can't even imagine how much time and know-how would have to go into building something like that. Oh, what talent!!:thumbsup
 
Ugh.....Sylvester McCoy is going.....for 11 years I've gone to Dragon Con and waited for him to come,...now this year,...the one time I can't go,..and GUESS WHO'S COMING!!?? Ugh, shoot me.
