Great work mate and just over over the border from me where was the mini con was it down this way some where? I wouldn't mind having a bash at one of these but I've already got so much going on costumes wise lol if your ever passing through Devon pop in for a cupper

oh damn didn't know they had anything like that down there last time I took my Iron man suit down to Plymouth was for the lord mayors parade nearly this time last year

I took a piece of clear acrylic and cut it to shape. Then I popped it in the oven at a low temperature and waited till it was soft. Lifted it out and let gravity bend it, don't force it just assist it or you get dimple shapes where you push with your fingers. Then I lowered it into the helmet and let it continue to bend its self into position. Once it cooled took it out and dremeled out the details. I bought 2 motorcycle visor inserts Shades Motorcycle Visor Inserts Dark / Gold / Silver / Purple - Road Legal | eBay cut the detail out of one and stuck it to the front of my make shift visor then the other one on the inside. Voila a halo visor

Yeah its foam as well. Was a bit of a rushed job cause decided I couldn't do halloween as the Chief with no gun

this is mind blowing I can only dream of building a masterpiece like this from foam

No worries man. You know what I cant even remember how I came across those. I think I may have been searching gold mirrored vinyl or something.
