Drack's Master Chief Foam Build now with more weapons

Hey guys I have waited as long as I can for 405th to sort its self out but looks like its not going to happen so thought I would bring my MC build over here.
Sorry for the amount of pics but I thought I would show the journey so far.

All the bits painted and lights in.

Latest thing I am working on is the under suit. I have never used a sewing machine before so go easy on me

Here are the weapons I am building to go with the suit. Once the under suit is finished I will get back to the Hammer.

Hehe thank you man. I must admit I am not happy with the helmet. Its not the right shape and is too big but it wasn't easy working from the pep templates. The good news is I do have a properly scaled pep helmet I am in the middle of so that will one day replace the foam one

Cheers bruv. I cant wait till this project is completely finished now but its good I have got back into it as its been sat in my office for months now. The under suit is definitely proving a challenge as like I said I have never done anything like this before. The waste band I am making isn't too bad but I can see the shorts and shoulders being the bits that really test me.

The Halo suits are fun to build because to be honest they are quite easy. The master chief wasn't as simple as the reach stuff because there is no pep for for the foam build so had to mod the templates for it.

Thank you, I feel pretty cool wearing it I got a very small scale Con at the week end so looking forward to that. The real pressure will be on though to get it finished for the one I am going to in London in May

@Smurfted. I just checked on 405th and it took me a little over 3 months to make the suit. I didnt have one of the boots finished but I just did that in a couple of nights recently so didnt add much time to it. I would have got it finished but my wife gave birth near the end so that made it a little harder to get done The gun took 3 nights after work. Was a bit of a rushed job for Halloween so it could have been better but it does the job. The hammer took a month but it was custom made with a little guidance from pep.

The file I used for the helmet was a HD pep file. I forget who it was by but I had to modify the templates to work for foam so there isn't a foam file out there that I am aware of for the MK VI sorry.

i guess you modified the file after printing it, not in program, then oh well, i'll have to do it myself then

Well a bit of both. I unfolded it to suit foam and also trimmed here and there after printing to make sure the bits worked.
