I emailed to see if they were releasing one and they said they don't have plans to. I don't see why they wouldn't, though.

yeah, solid resin piece it comes with two interchangeable "heads"....one extended and one retracted (i'll take a pic and post that one too)

Please do post those pics. I, for one, would love to see what it looks like extended and shortened.

I just hope some one makes a working metal version of the laser screwdriver some time soon. Hopefully a metal sonic screwdriver will be made some time too.
