Dr. House's cane...

I was doing some searching around tonight for props from my various favorite TV shows and I happened across this article which linked to the supplier for Dr. House's cane.

I've seen him use a few different canes, but this is the cane from the episode where Dr. Wilson rigs House's cane to snap.

Not a bad price, looks to be a very nice cane too. I have been known to break a toe or three from time to time, so it wouldn't hurt me to have a cane around anyway.

EDIT: Also, because the Internet is good this way, I found a fan video dedicated to House's cane. People are definitely... strange sometimes.

that's not it, the ring at the top looks too short on the fashionablecanes one, it's also ribbed, the one from the show doesn't look like it is...

the one in the pic has a silver ring, all the ones on the website have brass rings.... wonder if it was a custom jobby?

Probably so. I seem to remember my grandfather buying replacement/repair stuff for his cane all the time. I'm fairly certain its easy to swap out the hardware that holds the handle to the cane, but honestly this one is close enough to make me happy.

If anyone wants to do some additional legwork and help me find some clear shots of the hardware so maybe we can find it, that would be a nice endeavor for this thread as well.

He has the largest collection of Colin Mayne originals I know of. haha

I enjoy House, but don't have opportunity to watch all the episodes. He had a silver headed cane in tonights episode (Hospital is having a Charity Casino/Poker event, Patient is small child who seems to have same disease/disorder/whatever that killed one of Houses previous patients.) Whether this cane is part of his 'Tuxedo' get-up or his new companion remains undetermined.

speaking of House. I never thought I could figure out a way to ask about this but I really like his motorcycle jacket, the leather with red and white stripes at the elbows one.

something similar was in smallville last week, worn by the guy that shot green arrow but white stripes.

I'd really love to get one.
anyone know anything about it?
