Doom Prop

Taking a page from the movie DOOM, where the creature gets caught in the nano-door, we created a life-sized prop using a creature sculpted by Dylan Thomas - one of my talented students now at the Pittsburgh Institute of Art.

Love the design! That movie is one of my favorites, and that scene is one of the few that made me wince. I can't imagine being stuck midway through the door like that, and still alive enough to try and eat someone.

Very cool design work! I have a feeling your students are going to continue to impress for a long time to come!
