That book is a must have for Indy and / or Star Wars fans. I have two of these: a mint hardcover copy with dust jacket, to keep on the bookshelf, and a paperback version I use as my prop reference book. I look at it so much that it's impossible to prevent some wear on the cover.Tom - you just prompted me to go onto Amazon and buy the Lucas Archive book. No idea why I took so long to do that! Paintjob looks great! Something between what's seen in the LucasFilm Archives book and what's seen on-screen. Don't know what filters were used when shooting the pictures in the book, or shooting the movie, but the colors of the book and the urn seen in the movie do not match 100%. This paintjob seems to be a nice inbetween. Perfect!
Have you contacted the first sixteen on the list sarednab? I hope i'm one of them
If not, next month it is, can't wait to see one in front of me.
Interesting to see how much the different props vary in color... Personally I don't like this dark color scheme. I'm very happy with the paintjob on the Sarednab's pictures...Unfortunately, I didn't get a photograph of the second (lighter) urn and I regrettably cannot share the other photo's I took at the archives but here is a close-up zoom of the darker Urn I mentioned above.

Is there a restriction to sharing your other archive photos?
You're from Australia. So you go back and forth to the US now and then to visit The Archives? For me it's way too far to travel, but if I lived nearby, what should I have to do to visit this? Just wondering...
Wow, indeed you're very priviliged in that case. Didn't know you worked for Lucasfilm. That's cool. So you work with props etc. there, or is it something completely different you do there? (Sorry for the questions, just so curious now).
At the town I work, there is a guy that worked for Newline cinema years ago (he is retired now). He was a propmaker there and also worken on the Freddy Krueger gloves... I was so happy he agreed to made me a glove for a very nice price. I picked it up at his home, and this is a sanctuary... His completele house is full of pictures of him with horror actors, autographs, even some screen used props. His working room is full of masks, gloves, etc... not only Newline cinema stuff, but also other franchises. He just can't stop making this stuff... and he's VERY good in it!
Wow Mark, sounds like a dream job to me. I'd likely guess that you sometimes work with props. Your results with weathering some props on here would suggest this. :cool
By the way, in what part of Oz do you reside, i'm in Sydney's south.
