Maybe you guys might think wth? But i got a bit confused since i made a first transfer like a week ago and i just got the email for the new balance, sorry for asking but is this the "second part" of the payment? Since i see this and the one i sent are different amounts i want to be sure i dont miss the 2nd run, i would appreciate the heads up to know if what i already sent is this step, or we are already on the last one :)

It's hard to tell from the pics you posted.. is that mask as reflective as the original sample posted? Like this one earlier in the thread?

Some of the recent pictures look waaay more matte than shiny. Not sure if it's just lighting?

I cannot wait for this to show up at my door...

Re: Ant-Man Helmet**Regulator, Pym Canisters back module pics #417**2ND RUN PAYMENTS*

Yes the chrome look of the original post is way off from the actual movie helmet. So we are making them match the movie...not chrome them out. Hero finishing would mean matching the hero helmet in the movie :)

I own that first helmet. And trust me it's not accurate in the least. Not a very good representation of the movie helmet.

Hey I would be interested in hearing from some of the members here who have received helmets from the first run on the techniques they used to assemble them.

I am hoping that there is a logical way to mount the faceplate so that it can rotate upward in an open position and have the breather attached so that it can be released on one side but attached on the other as it appears in several scenes in the movie.

Re: Ant-Man Helmet run **Collecting Deposits**

Just for anyone who has paid for finishing work, I was told Friday that 'in-house' finishing is NOT being completed by GeneralFROSTY, as it was Originally stated by the OP and mentioned many times in this thread before payments were requested. Just a friendly FYI to the community.

Thanks guys :) I will order up some more powder then :) and work on the other parts/pieces...

Also wanted to let everyone know I will be using GeneralFROSTY for the finishing work on this helmet, so Please let me know if you want finishing work. His metal look is great, best I've seen :)

I'd be interested in the finishing work.

I'd like to get the finishing work

Deposit sent for cold cast... I'd also like to get it finished by General Frosty.
Thanks for offering this great item!

Thanks for the deposits guys..looks like it will be a couple of runs.. and I will try and update as much as I can about the helmet, sock, belt etc.. :)

Also those who want finishing I will make a list and let GeneralFROSTY know :)

Just made my deposit! Requesting finishing by General Frosty too, please.

Super psyched!!! Have been doing Classic Ant-man for a kids' charity and am eager to upgrade to the movie version...

Do we know what the finishing work will cost from GeneralFrosty?

GeneralFrosty has quoted me $285-$300...since there are no casts yet..or molds this will need to be confirmed once he gets one in his hands :)

Can't wait to get mine, I have no doubts the paint work will be exceptional.

Re: Ant-Man Helmet**Regulator, Pym Canisters back module pics #417**2ND RUN PAYMENTS*

This was built before the movie was release..so there would be no easy way to make the chin/breather do this. The faceplate is separate and you could make a hinge system.

It will be a thing of beauty :)
