Looking good. I wouldn't have mind if the shape of the bottom part was a bit more like the hook seen in post #12, though. Shape of the hook part itself looks great. Here is a pic where the hook looks very similar in shape than the one we will be getting (but it doesn't seem to have the wires around it):

Sarednab, is this right??? That's a quarter of the entire cost of the prop in addition to the total cost. That would be a total of $535.00 total for the hook. We've already plopped down a deposit of $130 each. Sorry, just seems like a lot.

Sadly yes.
It is the same quote for all place of the world. I'll pay the same to receive my hook.
It will be ship with dhl from Pakistan and this is the only way to ship it.
I already know cause I do many items from this factory.
The positive note is that noone will pay custom and it arrive soon.

Woah... that much for shipping? I thought the final price was $425 on top of the deposit.... That's a lot to ask especially after such a wait. I'm glad payment isn't due right away because I need time to think about this now lol!

There was the write "425$ PLUS shipping" since the first day of the thread.
You write "that's a lot to ask especially after this wait".
Believe me, if you know the amount of works and money invested in this project you not talk in this way.

I think we all knew there would be a shipping charge, but I don't think anybody had an idea that the shipping would be an extra $110. I was expecting maybe $35-40.
Would there be a way to combine shipping to different countries to save on cost? Instead of sending 1 at a time, maybe send all the hooks that are going to the US at once, and then someone could re-ship once they arrive?
This has been a long project coming, and I can't thank you enough for putting it together. I personally can't wait to receive the Hook, and as a long-time fan and owner of your other works, I know it will be amazing. The shipping was just more than what I was expecting as well.

Yes, shipping could be combined to save some money. But it will not be too much. A example (not confirmed quote as well, I talk only for my experience with that factory):
1 Hook 110$
2 Hook 200$
3 Hook 280$
etc...

Yeah, you guys in the US (and many other contries with low shipping costs) have to consider yourself lucky. This hook is massive metal, so I guess it wil weigh quite a bit. If I ship a package from Belgium that's heavier than 2 kg, shipping costs become huge too... OK, shipping is a bit high, but then again: I just received a paper in my mailbox that RelicMaker's Clock of Ages arrived. Import taxes: 125 € (= $140) !!! That's ON TOP of the actual shipping costs. So if this hook arrives without any additional import taxes, I'm fine with the shipping costs...
