Factory made a really nice change in the mechanism!!! In this way it will be ok for the eternity!!! You can open and close it 10000 times!
It is stronger! Infact no need a 90degrees movement to close but just 20degrees!

Did all of them arrive to you today and you will be shipping them out? Or is the factory shipping all of them out to us on Monday?
No no this factory start shipping on monday! Factory will ship 6/7 hooks each day.

No, it is identical to the prototype
Also in the movie the curl of the tip differs from scene to scene. I guess not all hooks used int he movie were 100% the same. There are quite some screenshots in this thread. If you look at all of them you'll find quite some where the curl in the tip is barely noticable...

The movie used two different designs...a "short" version and a "long" version. I believe this replica is of the "short" version.

There were actually a few others, there is a tall hook that has engravings on it as well, and if you go pages back on this thread you can see an image I posted of a shorter hero hook that does not have any engravings on it. So that brings us to at least 4 different hooks.
Not to mention as we all know, the hooks were heated and bent by hand, I don't know about blacksmithing but I can't imagine it would be easy to replicate the same degree of bends in the hooks.
