I think is is made for an Andorian head with holes for the antennas.
But a case can be made for a child size Klingon head. LOL!

I just received my mark 42 helmet I must say I'm very impressed at how thick the helmet is. Wow if your thinking about getting one you should they are great!!! Thanks Curtis I can't wait till my iron patriot arrives!!
