Unpacked my Handlink #0001 tonight. I think I've died and gone to heaven. Never in a million years did I think I'd be helping out on a project such as this. I can't wait to see people's reactions to getting their props in the coming weeks and months!
USB cable included. It will have a charge on it. about 8 hour run time constant use. About 1.5 hours recharge time.So how do we charge this and for how long?
I want to hit the ground running when I get mine in a few weeks!
I've just tested it and while powered on and blinking, the Handlink draws 95-105mAh. When playing a sound, the Handlink draws closer to 150mAh. The Handlink ships with a 1200mAh battery. I feel comfortable saying that it will run 8-9 hours on a charge depending how much the sounds are played. Most USB power packs for recharging cell phones can give the Handlink a top-up if extra runtime is needed. Making sure the Handlink would make it through a full day at a Con was an essential design goal for me.So how do we charge this and for how long?
(A simulated J type battery color print is optional for aesthetic purposes.)
No, that info is old. I never ended up going that route.I see this on the website - is the J battery print included with the finished piece?

All tiles are lasercut acrylic. Are the blocks that have LED backlighting made from clear cast, tinted resin or are they laser cut acrylic?
Thanks
All tiles are lasercut acrylic.
I'll keep making them till either everyone gets one or I die trying. In that case, I'm doubly impressed you managed to get a colour match to the original LED blocks.
What is the timescale for offering up replicas?
I think I'm comparitively quite far down your list.
Is the run going to be capped or will you be making as many as necessary to satisfy demand, which given how popular this replica is could get up to a hundred or so, I'm assuming?
Thanks
