Question Does the YouTube link system on this forum support "new" channels?

I've attempted to link my RPF profile to my new youtube account (https://www.youtube.com/c/3fstudiostube). But the system only seems to support old or "legacy" youtube URLs (youtube.com/user/blahblahblah). Youtube channels no longer have those URLs unless they were created before 2014. Is there a way around this?
