I am taking a try at making acrylic display cases, but everything I've tried so far to glue the sides absolutely sucks. I've read on the internet that Weld-on#3 works great, but I cant find it in any stores. Does anyone know where to get this or anything else that works in a store???

Well - I looked on two sites (one being the one you posted) and a 16oz bottle is like $13.00 - but shipping on both sites is about $10.00. So I just wanted to see if there was an easier way to get it before I spent double what I would need to...

Have you tried Ambroid Pro Weld? It's water thin so it takes a little bit of work to get used to working with, you basically let osmosis suck it into the seam...

You can get it in the plastic model area of Hobby Lobby...

There's one that's sold by Plastruct (Plastruct.com). They also sell to hobby stores so any store that sells Plastruct product can get you Weld-on.

Try Hobbytown USA, Hobby Lobby, Michaels etc.

Never tried it before but PVC pipe glue might work.

I order mine from a local company.

Some Ace Hardware stores carry materials for working with acrylic (cutters, drill bits, glue, polishing compounds, etc.)
