Doctor Who - The Master's new screwdriver design!

Hi All,

I've just posted up my concept design for the Master's new screwdriver here, top left corner:

It's a more evil version of he Doctor's, really. I like the idea of it being cannibalized, somehow, a bit more Dark City-ish

I might build it over a CO toy, but the idea is that the blades open out as the laser part is extended. Similarly, the blades will retract when the center is withdrawn back into the handle... also note the super-bright green LED, or even mini laser-pointer I might be installing too!

I know that some of you have built different versions of your own sonic designs, so if anyone wants to have a build of this, I'd love to see them!

I like the opening blades, it harkens back more to the Tissue Compression Eliminator of the original Master.

It also reminds me of a medieval torture device. It was used to force open various body openings. So it's right on the mark for the master! :thumbsup

Sounds about right to me, I did want it to have a bit of a creepy medical torture feel to it, so glad that it's come across, though would be surprised if it got considered for the TV series... bit too gory?
