I just ran across this .pdf and thought I'd share with everyone. I image it's nothing new, but just in case someone doesn't have it and may want it I threw it on one of my servers. It's a 10MB file, looks to be maybe early 80's, though I'm not sure. It's full of technical drawings, info and even a papercraft TARDIS.

Anyway, here it is: LINK

This is awesome, thank you for posting this!

Thank you for taking time out to make this available. I used to have a copy of this when I was in high school in the '80's. It was a fun read and for those of you who enjoy the newer bunch of episodes you may want to see the older ones as well...back when a they couldn't decide what a Kaled mutant should look like. One version looked like and was the size of a boneless chcken breast.

I started watching with the new Russel T. Davies era. I really need to go back and watch the older stuff, but I tend to be a completest and considering so much of the older stuff is lost, I wouldn't know where to begin.

Fantastic.

I still have my copy on the shelf but to have an electronic copy is very, very useful.

Thanks for posting that, it brings back high school memories of renting that book from the library for my first little widgets made out of hot-glue and bits of plastic.

At one point I had the whole TARDIS tool kit fabbed up and had what was considered to be the definitive 1995 website on all of the Dr. Who gadgets. I just sold what leftover bits survived on Ebay a few months ago and gave the question mark umbrella to a kid in London who is trying to make a cast of the handle for a materials cost only run for a bunch of fans. Fun stuff.

I still have this book as well and in pretty good condition. I loved watching the old Doctor Who on PBS; 2 episodes and then Three's Company, my Wednesday and Thursday line up.

If you want to see good old shows I highly recommend anything from the Tom Baker era. He was my favorite.

Best,
