I saw some people posting about wanting this and wanted to show mine. I rapid prototyped mine and then made molds. They came out pretty well. Let me know what you think.

I really like the fact that you went out of your way to make an obscure prop. Would you consider sharing the file with me so I could make my own, but alter it to allow for a sound package? Thank you in advance.

I quickly checked Attack of the cybermen (is it the only episodes the lance was used or was it in Vengeance on Varos too?) and the scenes I remember the tool was used in it had no sound effects, but it had lights on it's side. The Doctor just switched it on (it lights up) and pointed it to things, and that's it.
The only time it could made a sound was when he killed the cyberman but my guess is that it was only the cyberman's circuitry overloading as the lance didn't make any noise in other scenes.

That makes sense. I remembered it making a noise, but like you point out it probably was the Cyberman's circuitry overloading. That's good to know. I can always just add lights, lol.

or add the cyberman circuitry overloading sounds, find a cyberman cosplayer and stab him in the chest :D

Good call. I'm putting together my own Doctor Cosplay and I want to have what I've nick-named a Sonic Vault to store past versions of the Doctor's Sonic Devices in. I definitely want the lance in my display/Cosplay.
