Doctor Who Polyphase Avatron

Some photos of my scratchbuild of Polyphase Avatron, the killer robot bird from the Tom Baker Doctor Who story, The Pirate Planet.
The model is made from plywood covered in aluminium sheet and turns his head via radio control. The lights in his eyes are not screen accurate but I like the effect!

That looks great. Love that Era of Who, wish Douglas Adams wrote had written more for Tom.
