Lost In Space Sky Pirate Parrot

Here is my scratchbuild of the parrot from the Lost In Space episode The Sky Pirate. I'm not a great fan of the series but I can never resist a robot bird.
This one seems a direct ancestor of Polyphase Avatron from Doctor Who, one of my all time favourites.

Model is made from milliput, plasticard, aluminium sheet and a couple of plastic candle moulds.

Just to show you my penchant for tv birds, here are some others I've done.

The Iron Chicken from The Clangers

Also a Wol from the same show.

Sage the Owl from The Herbs

Professor Yaffle from Bagpuss

I know, I do need to get out more.

That turned out great!

Nice, another world for me, 3D printing. I'm still using a modelling knife, glue and filler at the dining table! Very much analogue rather than digital is my stuff.
