I think this new design nicely blends elements of 'the invasion' cybermen with a more open 'tomb/wheel in space' type mouth and arm tubing, with the armoured appearance of the cybus version, can't wait to hear if there's a new voice!

They still need a big heat lamp on top of their heads! :lol

I dont know. The helmet doesnt look right for some reason. The face itself isnt prominent enough. Like in the first new series model, they had a T-shaped protruding face. This design looks too human to me. Itll be a great cosplay, though! Maybe ill do a foam costume...

Personally I think that's why I like it more. There should be a strong human element in there, makes them creepier.

I've been speaking with Curtis and he has begun work on the 3d model, hopefully sometime soon he will be able to share some progress with us, exciting times :cool

Im really excited to see more of this design. Will there be plans to release these on the Junkyard? Im in the middle of creating a new Cyberman design for my fan film, and would like to use this helmet. The rest of the armour will be similar to the Tomb armour with chest plate.
