Doctor Who Handles Build

Back in February I started building a replica of the Cyberman head Handles from the Doctor Who episode "The Time of the Doctor" for my graduation project. After I ran out of time and my silicone and plaster molds fell apart, my advisors passed me on my unfinished project, and I stopped working on it even though I had the intent to finish it. One summer later, I decided to pick the project back up where I left off since Doctor Who was back, and I decided to post any further updates here.
So here's the full 48ish hours of sculpting in about 4 minutes.

And here is the result; out of the mold, pre-handles and drilling but post buffing, burning, and painted with black acrylic. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1417291454.580243.jpg
He came out a bit dented because the silicone wrinkled a bit while it was curing. Not as bad as the first attempt thoughImageUploadedByTapatalk1417291697.073294.jpg
I'm going to try and fix that in the next attempt. I still plan to put LED's and a speaker in this prototype to test what works and what doesn't.

On a side note I think I'm going to try and make a Handles Christmas ornament

Made another one for my sister for Christmas.
For this one I was able to fix some of the dents, mainly the big one in the centre of the faceImageUploadedByTapatalk1422315667.168946.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1422315688.611439.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1422315711.502706.jpg
I like this one way better, and I should be able to make another one like it with the current amount of resin I have.

Only one thing... Your missing the handles!! Awesome work though!
I know this was a while ago but have you any updates and would you sell one or do a run even in kit form
good question
would love to have a blank of this...

Woah... I didn't realize people were still interested in this. Didn't get notifications about any of these messages until now. Would people really be interested in a run/kit for this?

Anyways, update time:
I added some temporary wooden handles and threw some random wires and cords on the inside of my first draft for New York Comic Con last year (and he was an absolute star, everybody wanted a picture with him)

I put some apoxie sculpt to make some sort of sloppy connections from the hands to each other and the "ears" and painted it silver. I also glued on some aluminum patches, one of which unfortunately fell off while I was in New York.

That's all for now, but if people are interested in it, I'll cast another one and sculpt the handles properly to get a better finished product.

Oh, and Handles and I got some pictures with Samuel Anderson, and he signed Handles (which I thought was appropriate since his character became a Cyberman)
