Unlimited Run Doctor Who: 6th Doctor Sonic Lance

So something that's been on drawing board for Wondersquid and I for many months to complete the collection of various Sonics out there is the 6th Doctor's Sonic lance as seen in Attack of the Cybermen.

If an upgrade to a metal version or the possibility of sound comes on the cards I'll update accordingly though it may affect price. For now this is a molded and cast in resin and then hand painted with a working interior light. I We're looking for 25-30 minumum which we have now reached. No max.

Shipping TBD on location and shipping preference. Tenative Deadline is Sun October 5th. I'll work with you if you need a little flex in the timeframe. Once all the funds are in there should be 6-8 week turnaround.

Static no lights or Sound: $75.00
Lights only: $100.00
Sound and lights: $150.00

As always if you need to push this slightly or pay half to get in the run and pay the second half during the run I'll try and work with you.

Shipping TBD on your address and shipping method. For the US flat rate priority should be $6.50, for the UK First Class should be around $14.50. International Priority will be around $24.00. I'll reconfirm individually when we get closer.

For now heres the finished protoype with lights. We're going to make a few minor adjustments such as the style of LED (looking at some brighter ones) and length of the bottom battery pack compartment etc. When we have a sound protoype to show off in video I'll post it then.

The Sonic Lances are now all complete and ready to ship.


These take 2 AAAA batteries. You can pull out the bottom section and replace the batteries when needed, Recommended to re-tape them in their carriage before sliding back in. Also best to keep Sonics away from excessive heat.


Light and Sound function are linked. Both are activated by the black side switch. The top silver buttons are non functional/for decoration only- like the original.


For the 4 people who prepaid shipping I'll be reconfirming your addresses and then shipping these of ASAP.

6th Doctor Sonic Lance 2nd Group Run.


For anyone who missed out on the first run we're doing a 2nd run.


Custom made replica of the Sonic lance used by Colin Baker as the 6th Doctor in the story Attack of the Cybermen from 1985. Measures approx 8.5" long and 1.25" wide. This Sonic is made from resin, with clear red section, 2 faux buttons (non-functiong) and silver accents. Functioning black switch on the side. Runs on 2 AAA batteries.


Lights and Sounds only. We are not offering lower tier static dummy or lights only versions this time.

This run is still a go. We had a snag with the electronics and I've been pulled away putting out a fire with a separate costume commission but everything is back on track. The shells have been ready for a while, the new sound boards are now en route and we plan to have these out by end of December at the latest if not sooner.

Thanks for staying on the run. As of now with current demand we'll be shortening this to a 10 unit run. If we have any spares leftover I'll post if/when that happens. But we still have at least 1-3 spots open if anyone still wishes to jump on board late and send payment by mid December.

Will post another update once final assembly gets going and we are ready to ship.

Responded to you direct Karstva but for everyone else:

Sorry I've been incommunicado. I've been under triple crunch between the day job, a side gig and lots of various work prepping things for the Gallifrey One Convention on the staff side.

Long and short is the sound/light boards we received were not acceptable. We've been waiting for a replacement batch for weeks. We were recently told to expect delivery mid-Feb. Once we have them it shouldn't be more than a day to assemble and ship. I know it's been a longer delay than anticipated but these things happen. For anyone familiar with me, I've done around 30 Doctor Who Prop and Costume runs and I haven't had one collapse on me with non-delivery or refunds. I apologize again for the delay and will update once we can finally start shipping.
