Hello,
i singed up here a while back, but this is my first post. I'm currently working on a Dengar/Hoth Rebel DL-21 blaster pistol build using a real deactivated Charter Arms AR7. I'm having some difficulties trying to figure out how the scope mount is attached and what it was made from. I was going to use a AR7 side plate scope mount, but it wouldn't look right and they are hard to find. I have already fitted a Sterling L2A3 grip to it and have a red Singlepoint conical sight. I still need the British 2" mortar tail fin and Revell parts. I can't seem to find the mortar either besides some torn up and rusted ones. Does anyone happen to know what the inside thread pitch on the mortar is? I'm thinking about getting an all steel barrel and threading it for a stronger build and cleaning look. I'm just getting back into prop building now that my son is a huge Star Wars fan. I have been checking out this site for awhile and you all have amazing talent here. Thanks for any help.
