DIY according a Youtube clip - Tusken Head

And I think it took me about 6 hours.

According to a 20 pound tutorial from YouTube

I got the nose, eyes and cheek parts from a friend. I originally wanted to make these out of FOAM. But it just didn't look good.

I used an old linen shirt of mine for the fabric. I colored it with delicious espresso. Stinks a bit, but the smell goes away eventually. The material then looks very aged. Everyone usually has cardboard at home. I have to buy imitation leather again. I still had something in a lighter brown, but I didn't like it. So I ordered something again from Amazon for 8 euros. I also had to buy a leather belt for the muzzle. We didn't have one at home anymore either. 7 euros on Amazon.

I also had some foam. But as I said, a friend said he would print out my eyes etc. That was a good idea too.

Ultimately, the helmet or head, whatever you call it, turned out just great. It doesn't quite fit me anymore because of the paper mache, but it's great for the shelf.

I'm thinking about making another helmet after this tutorial. Only this time with more space for my head. If you have any questions, just write. I am happy. Greetings Dirk
