I was sent a few original Marto Conan swords by Davis panzer productions to refurbish.. they had been in a flood and are in pretty bad shape .. i had figured they were threaded in pommels but after applying a crap ton of heat and trying to twist her off.. i got nothing.. but the plating is peeling off and i Found what looks to be a crazed cap over where a threaded nut would go.. anyone ever taken apart one of these ? Specific to Marto only
