Die Cast Lighted 1/350th TOS Enterprise (TOMY crowd funded)

Maybe but none of those matter for one of us that doesn't have one yet! And this price point is great for what it offers!

I agree. It's a great piece and price. I am just offering a possibility as to why it's not getting the numbers it needs.

I would give up body parts for a Enterprise Refit, Excelsior, and Enterprise E in 1/350 fully built, lit, etc.

If this makes it maybe they will do more versions.

They limited it to 2,500 and lengthed the time. Meanwhile the HISS Cobra vehicle's crowdfunding is great. If life is a formal-trekfans are brown shoes. Well, we have Lightyear Hyperspeed ships-the protective clear plastic forms a huge second cockpit over the ARMADILO dropship-maybe I can make a shuttlecraft out of that-no tampons for nacelles-just old superglue tubes with the nozzle base. Sigh.

Man I hope this gets off the ground!! Even with the extended deadline and lower backing goal, this project still has a mountain to climb.

As said above, this needs to succeed in order for TOMY to even consider making other ships in the future.

And I for one would love a Refit Enterprise or a Klingon Battlecruiser, or a Romulan Battlecruiser from NextGen.

Ya know at first I thought it was that TOS Enterprise had been done but I have to say this thing is awesome and blows all previous versions away.

I am tempted and it's not an Enterprise I have wanted.

I think maybe they are not advertising enough and they gave themselves very little time.

I really hope this goes, for both all who want it, and then maybe a future Refit, etc.

SCREW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could not resist.

Retirement is for quitters.

I ordered one.

I was 1147. It's now at 1151
LOL!!! Congrats!! I am sure you won't regret it!!! It's gonna be a beautiful piece! At least I hope so! :)

Omg…this ship has the potential to blow away the Master Replicas Enterprise from 2008..which fetches 2 to 4 times the asking price now.

This model is so good…I might consider getting two.

Thanks for the post!!!
Yeah I think I'm going to go for two. It'll help their campaign along and there's no doubt I could resell it for more down the road.

They need to advertise more.

As mentioned my favorites are the Refit, Excelsior, and Ent E. Plus I love the Enterprise F. No luck finding anything on that short of a 3" thing.

Anyway, TOS Enterprise I like, as I do all the Enterprises, but it was never on my list for an expensive model. Well the more I look the more I like it. Assuming, and that is a big assumption, they can replicate this for all the models it is simply the best one ever offered. To see this level of detail you normally have to spend thousands for a real pro to build one.

Now I figured, I would buy one to help it get done so hopefully I will get one of my other ones, probably sell it later, etc.. The more I look at it the more I think this may just stay in my collection.

That being said these guys really need to advertise more and give everyone some more time. They really are not giving people enough time to learn about this. This is my only Social Media. When I finally asked someone about My Space I was informed it was over, so I have no clue how to do it, but there are plenty of people who are experts in Social Media and getting the word out so I wish these guys would get with those experts. It does not seem to be getting the traction it should. Based on other offerings this should already be done.

My .5 cents.

Totally agree with your sentiments. I've been commenting on their FB page to get them to advertise more. I think they are going to a Chicago Con to showcase the ship at their booth. Hopefully that will spread the word. I've been trying to this to go viral myself but so far only minimal interest.

I even suggested to them to get Adam Savage to promote this campaign on his Tested Youtube channel. That I think would be huge.

Other Star Trek Fans have been trying to spread the word but so far ineffective.

They should have allowed Canadians and South America to join in this campaign. I understand Europe might not have made sense since shipping would have been prohibitive. But the Americas...why not?

OMG yes! Either Adam or Norm promoting this would definitely get them past the goal!

Hoping all those light leaks are solved, and that panel separation on the port nacelle strut made invisible.
Would also like the neck separation line to be much less noticeable.
