Dexter Morgan cargo pants

Anyone have a clue as to what brand/make of cargo pants Dexter Morgan wears as part of his kill costume in the Showtime show Dexter?
Google searches have yielded some conversations on the topic, but no definite answers, and I've been trying to hunt them down so long I have an afterimage of cargo pants when I blink my eyes.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

As far as I know, somebody here was going to ask somebody in authority on the set, but some stuff went down and he got all butthurt and refused to do it. Somebody else can probably fill in the details a little better. For now, the brand of the cargo pants is still a mystery.

There's a few screen caps. Notice the side pockets? There is like a double thingy going on. (I'm no expert). The back belt loop is V shaped. Hope these can help someone ID them.

Well, I believe I found the Cargo Pants.

-Looking at the second picture in my above post, I think the back pockets have been removed. It looks to me that only the top flap is there.
-Also in the 2nd picture, you can see a button on the side of the knee area, right below the side pocket.
-The 4th picture down, we can see a V belt loop and to the right, a dark spot where a patch was with a logo on it.
-In Season 1 Episode 3, when Dexter falls in the mud after stopping Jeremy Downs, there is a logo on the back we can see. I can't read it, but it is a yellow logo. (Thanks to someone in the Dexter Costume thread, forgot who.)

I think that these are the Cargo's here LUCKY BRAND BLACK COTTON CARGO PANTS SIZE 36/34 - eBay (item 320660449621 end time Mar-22-11 14:06:22 PDT), with the back pocket removed. Sadly I can't find this style anywhere on the web. They're probably discontinued like everything else on the friggin show!

You definitely could be on to something, the removed patch matches up really well. I can't figure though why they'd remove the back pockets. It's possible it's a newer or older season with slight differences. They at least look like a great close enough (if not a match) for the season 1 pants. Now if only we could track down the season 4 pants with the cool stitch detail at the cuffs.

They may have removed the back pockets to alter the look of the pants. (They also cut a knife out of a spatula for the Kill Tools.) The picture below really looks like a removed pocket with fraying where the pocket should be. (It does to me IMO). Also, I think that belt loop right above the pocket is just ripped and hanging and not the design.

If we can get a few rapid fire screen shots of Season 1 Episode 3- 32:09 it shows a black patch with a yellow logo. I strongly believe it is the Lucky Brand patch we see in the eBay link pictures.

Hey everyone, I got a great lead on the Cargo Pants!!

I got in touch with someone in wardrobe. Here is what she wrote.
"The pants are G Star. It is a discontinued style but they have a similar pant called "laundry rovic". Hope that helps."

I have Google-Fu'd my ass off looking for the exact style discontinued pants, but have come up with nothing. At least we all know they are G-Star now. I'm sure if we all combine forces here, we can find exactly what they are. The chances of getting a pair is pretty slim I imagine, but at least I can sleep now sort of.

These make their first appearance in Season 2 Episode 11.

I have been looking for any retailer who sells them online. They are all out of stock or discontinued.

They're called, G-Star Raff or some variant. G-Star Raff Elwood Army. If you Google G-Star Raff Army, they come up.

I just got my G-Stars in the mail today, so I had to suit up.

American Apparel henley.
Damascus D302 gloves.
G-Star Raff Elwood "Narrow" (didn't realize this was the case when I bought them) in Java.
Dr. Martens that are waiting to be replaced by Diesel Cassidys which should be here any day this week.

If you are searching for the correct G-Star raff elwoods, I'm convinced they are the olive color, and not the narrow version like I bought. Although, these may be the pants from Season 3 when Harry is seen wearing the kill suit too.

Yea, the olive pants and boots have yet to pop up in my sizes, not sure they ever will as I have a normal waist size and the largest I've seen so far is 31W.

I'm looking for a 32-32 and found my size but the colour is beige, I'm pretty sure the right colour is olive as well.

The boots in the correct color are only available in the Diesel stores as far as I know. Unfortunately, that means paying full price. Thank you tax returns! I live in Michigan, called the store in Chicago, and they ordered them for me from San Fransisco. I'm expecting them in the next few days.

I agree, Olive is the right color. I am looking for a 34W-36W.

I think I may just wait to find out what the Season 5 pants are. They are G-Star as well. I haven't been able to ID them yet. You can see them pretty good in "Everything is Illuminated".

I'm looking for size 11.5-12 boots and 34-32 pants. If the beige pop up in my size I'll probably buy them and dye them the right color. I've got plenty of kelly green Rit on hand anyway. Maybe I'll call my local Diesel store and see if they can order the boots from a different store. Also, what color is more likely correct for the boots? Seal brown or mocha bisque! it's really hard to tell from the pictures we've got so far.

Another edit because it seems seal brown is discontinued. Mocha bisque it is, and if I have to dye them darker I will. Just ordered them over the phone and I should have them by Friday. Now for those pants...

I'm pretty sure it's Mocha Bisque! Best shots that come to mind are Season 1 when Dex breaks in to Paul's place. Season 4 running up the stairs to find Trinity. Both shots make them look really orange.
