What started as a fan project, offering high-end replicas of the Blood Slide Trophy Box as seen on ‘Dexter’ has turned into the ultimate of opportunities, thanks largely in part to a very special friend.
We are very proud to announce that our slide boxes have been chosen to be used as THE prop slide box for production of ‘Dexter’ as of season 5.
This amazing opportunity has been in the works behind the scenes now for quite some time and I am extremely privileged to be able to finally publicly announce the honor we have been given.
Our original design has been tweaked to accommodate the specifications required by the production team, and we are delighted to be able to offer these authentic slide boxes to fans everywhere.
Now with it’s unique lineage, our slide boxes will come with a stamped and signed Certificate of Authenticity to ensure your box has come from Michael Cosentino, the craftsman who made the original lot of boxes provided for use on the show as of season 5.
We want all previous buyers to know that your boxes are now extra special, as they are the original 20 boxes made prior to and leading up to the privileged honor of having our boxes used on-screen.
We thank all of you who have supported myself and my father during the course of this entire project, and as always, we appreciate any word-of-mouth you may be able to offer.
As of this posting, the total package and price has been amended and updated and as before, all boxes are constructed in limited units of TEN per-run to control quality and ensure that these items remain custom works of craftsmanship rather than mass-produced products sitting on a shelf waiting to be sold. I will soon be updating my FS thread in the JY regarding this new development.
