what new pants were those that you could see the front of when he was in the little boat tied up?
next week it looks like he is in a dark brown henley shirt and a khaki colored pair of pants.

the pants look khaki to me as well. Maybe to fit in with the Lion motif?

that is true, might just be for the Lion motif. it is the brown henley shirt though for sure (next week) but he did have different pants on when tied up in the boat maybe the 511's looked like there was that one pocket on the left leg above the bigger pocket.
just curious if maybe they will change his outfit after this to the brown and khaki outfit. they better not have changed the boots since i just bought a brand new pair that will be here tomorrow lol. i keep swearing his watch looks different this season. why can't it be next sunday already lol, but then we'll have another year to wait AGAIN for more

I'd prefer if it stayed consistent because I feel as though that's more in line with his character. We have seen that he has at least a few of the regular shirts, so I can't see it being a quick grab for a shirt in the plot. He had at least 3 or 4 when he moved everything from the apartment. If it does get changed for the remainder of the series, I hope it is for a purpose for the character. Either taking a darker turn with darker shirt or something such as that.

I can't seem to get a good look at the khaki pants. Be interested to see what they look like.

we gotta wait for next week, and then i'm sure we'll all be tryin to ID them. just like in season 1 he didn't always wear the army henley and olive colored khakis' at the beginning it was a different outfit, i believe a dark dark blue henley with black pants and boots if i recall. but for the hell of it if we can ID the the khaki pants id be down to buy em and have another of dexters used stalked out fits, would still like to know the exact ones used in his first actual kill, and you can see it well when he dumps the husband and wife (the wife Brian pulled back up) you can see that outfit well when he is dumping them.

I am 99% sure the pants from season 1 and 2 are Lucky Brand cargos.

You can see the Lucky Brand logo when Dexter falls down in the mud from the croc scaring him after stopping Jeremy Downs from re-enactng his first kill on that other kid in the swamp.

Also, the episode where Dexter, Rita, Brian, and Deb go to his father's house. When Dex takes a bag of trash across the street, there is a nice view of a black logo, with yellow letters. Dexter isn't in the Kill Clothes, but he is wearing the pants.


There was a black pair on eBay a long time ago that matched all the ID points of the ones on the show and I believe they are Lucky Brand cargos. A long discontinued style.

but don't you remember DP in the outfit he wore when he tossed Jorge Castillo and his wife over his boat, at that time he was switching between outfits, in that scene it definitely was not the army green henley and those lucky cargo's. i know the scene your talkin about with Jeremy Downs, you can see the lucky's good there, and there was recently a pair on ebay but a waist size 40.
Im curious to the outift in the opening kill scene and when he dumped Jorge Casillo and his wife over. ill try to get some shots later

I'm starting to think they're using the 5.11's for scenes where they can get damaged or stained.

In the episode Everything is Illuminated, there was wet blood everywhere.

When Dexter is on the boat, the pants get wet in the water, maybe even the possibility of getting stained with something?

Maybe there are only a few pair of G-Star pants left in wardrobe?

I still think there is a different shirt he wore when dumping Castillo. I'll need to get a screen cap.
And I agree with that on the 511's and g-stars. I guarantee you M.C. Hall thinks (as do I) the g stars are more comfortable to wear, so they use those when nothing will happen to them since they have to be scarce and use the 5.11's when they can get dirty since those are in large supply, I've thought the same lately and have not been wearing my g stars as much due to the fact they are so rare and don't want anything to happen unless I score another pair. Hands down most comfortable pants I own. Cant wait. Moque Bisque Boots comin in today!!

If I recall correctly from viewing season one a second time, the shirt switches to what looks really similar to the army green shirt, with the exception of the buttons. Instead of the translucent white, they are black or dark blue...this picture may show it. They also had the grey with the stitches outside...I think there may have been 3 types of shirts in season one.

Those pants look different to me as well. I think this may be when Dex goes to his old house and tries to find Brian and has the flashbacks

yea that is the outfit DP, here is the screen shot, its not an army colored henley, i'd like to have this outfit as well, but more than likely a lost cause

as well as the outfit from next weeks episode which we only need the pants ID'd since its a brown henley

that is a different shirt than the one in the image I posted. In the image I posted, the stitching is not visible on the outside as in your photo or the publicity shots. I'll try and get some screen caps.

yea, ive actually for some reason been looking for that exact shirt since season 2 when i saw him wear it, just liked the look, and have never found one till the first one he sold, and this one for all i know isn't even a actual screen used shirt since it doesn't come with any tags like the others but i don't care, just hope it doesn't bring a lot of $ to where i can afford it, spent a lot lately, got the diesels, a blood slide box...
