Dethaniel's Halo Reach Spartan: Foam Armor, EVA/Pilot Helmets

Hey everybody, I am roughly new to The RPF and this will be my first post. I have been lurking for years, but finally think I should show off my work and help anybody that needs it since I have always taken help from these forums.

So here is the basic build progress of the suit including the helmets

Awesome job, particularly on the RD helmet!
The attention to detail on the foam ab section is astounding.

I thought I recognised them from the (Currently 111 page long) mlp thread... great to see a fellow 405th'er on this site.

Really nice suit. Ive been plugging away for a couple days now looking for some good foam pep files for halo, but no real luck so far. What foam did you use?

What foam did you use?

For foam, I just use any general EVA foam floor mats. Then, I use crafting foam with a variety of thicknesses for detail. You can use any pep-file for a foam template, just be conservative for flat faces and use the thickness of the material to your advantage for detailing.
