Decorating a Room

I just moved to a new house, and I am going to decorate my room. I was thinking of doing it a "Relic Hunter" sorta of way. Kinda of an Indiana Jones vibe, with historical props, and Knights Templar and Spanish Explorers mood.
any ideas?

Cool idea! You definitely need the book shelf overflowing with some musty old books...maybe even make a bookshelf with some hidden compartments to hide some "relics" in?

I'd start with hitting up surplus stores for crates and assorted items used in the field and if necessity repaint them and add some stenciling and some stickers.
Maybe some safari style furniture.

See if you can find pix of the old Banana Republic stores before they where bought out by the Gap.

Well u could go for the look of it being a Dr. Jones "Office" late 1800 early 1900 style
lots of wood, awesome desk, with a typewritter on it .......props, maps map table. displays etc etc etc

Or it could be a room like Tresure vault on "national trasure" with every thing in there.....

I personlly like the Office style but very price $$$$$ to get it to look right!!!
