Deathstroke (Arrow Season 2 Inspired)

I decided to make a Deathstroke cosplay heavily based off of the suit in Arrow Season 2, but I'm definitely going to be taking a few liberties with certain parts.

One of the first parts I wanted to do different was the sword. I didn't like just the plain Katana, so I decided to go with a sword based off of these reference pictures from his sword in Arkham City.

Me and a friend 3D modeled then printed the hilt and piece above it, then had the blade lasercut out of wood.

I managed to finish the sword today and get a good deal done on the bandoleer/sheath.

Thanks man. This is definitely only the first prototype. I have a convention coming up this weekend which I had to rush for. I've learned a lot and have come up with a better design for how the blade fits in the hilt as well as making the orange a little cleaner. If I can get the cost down a bit to make it, I may offer it to people of there's interest.

If it was me, I think I'd do the orange first, then paint the black over it. It seems like it would be easier to do a small, carefully cut piece of tape to protect the orange than the other way around.

That's a good point. I didn't think of that. I was thinking of making a decal to fit in the slot as well.

Some pictures of the some-what finished suit at Wizard World Chicago. It definitely looked good in my opinion but I'd definitely like to add more to it.
Also Beast Boy in the pictures is my son.

I can't believe I didn't see your costume at WW, looks awesome in the photos. I'm really impressed with the hilt you guys designed, are you guys willing to share that file?
