There's not much to see so far, but I'm going to start on this wonderful styrene kit and greeblie build of the Death Star turret. The toughest part will be figuring out the armature for it, as I plan to put electronics inside it so it turns, shoots and lights with sound fx. So far I'm just taping it together for a looksee. It's all going to have to be built on this kitchen table "workshop".
I have tamiya and testors glues I'm planning on using to assemble the boxes. I think welding the parts together will hold better than super glue. Is there a better cement that anyone can recommend for this?
Thanks to Wasili for making the awesome styrene and ABS kit of this!
Thanks to Moffeaton for the help with obtaining electronic elements for this. I might have to ask a few questions down the line. Your build is an inspiration.
Also thanks to Tox and Eric for their great builds that helped ID the turret parts and dimensions.
