Hope this is the right section.

"This problem originated on ebay and the person is not a member on the RPF"

this isn't a rant as much as it is a warning for my fellow RPF friends to stay away from the user "propfx".

I was told the J2 was made by Sidkit a while ago and I Paid well over 600$ for an all metal J2 and was only ever sent the "barrel" portion of it. after being asked to wait a month for the other half from Italy, the gun never came. I shipped back the piece I received an now propfx has stopped replying to my emails. so no refund, nada.

he has videos of his gun for sale on youtube and pops up on ebay every month. I hope my 600$ loss serves as a warning to potential buyers for a J2. thanks!

the J2 i bought but never got.

Damn, sorry to hear that...

You should maybe ask him openly on youtube if it is your in the video ?? ;)

Is he a member here ?

no too sure if he or she is a member here. I remember buying a metal Hellboy locator from them a year ago and it came through just fine. just really upset I thought I was getting a metal J2 and waiting months and nothing. not even some form of refund or communication.

I wasn't even aware Sidkit had worked on a J2.

I've bought a few things from him as well (after first contacting him through yourprops), and they all arrived ok, but one wasn't quite in as good a shape as he had said, another broke shortly after I received it so I threw it out, and he didn't come through with some 'extras' he had promised me for one of the props. Although I'm happy to have picked up the fairly rare items he sold me, he has not turned out to be the most reliable person. Don't think he's a member here.

I'm sorry you've had problems :unsure

I bought Space 1999 working stun gun and commlock props from him off ebay and his communication and ship times were excellent.

He wouldn't answer questions about his connection with Siderio though.

Too late for PP claim, I guess?

yea unfortunately i "trusted" him when he told me it would take a little longer to receive my package and it passed the allowed time to file a PP claim. kinda bummed bc i did receive the front barrel which was amazing quality and really thought I would be receiving the whole kit.

but alas i didn't and no communication at all since.

I can't seem to find his ebay name when searching for propfx... Could someone clarify it? I want to see if it's the same person I'm thinking of...

Hi there,

If you pay large sums of money via PayPal it's best to use a credit card in stead of a bank account. The credit company can usually fully refund you for your loss an try to get their money back from Paypal in which case the seller will have negative balance in his Paypal account. At least this has been my personal experience sofar with PayPal.

Thanks for the tip.

I have reached out to that person over at prop summit. honestly, would love to just get my gun replica but at this point a refund would be great.

*Crosses Fingers*

I just ordered two of Vash's replica kits from him (the sidkit ones).... One from eBay and one just through paypal and emails. I originally contacted him through yourprops, his username there is propfx and his ebay username is biddate....

So far from his sales on eBay he has had good feedback, also for my two shipments he has given me two tracking numbers. He has responded well to all of my emails and answered all my questions.

I hope everything comes out well, those kits I bought were not cheap :unsure

I've seen this up on ebay and I thought it was a little strange especially 2 of them from the same guy and both sold for over 6 bills. Sorry to see ya got screwed, can you leave negative feedback still? Try to hurt him where it counts.

I've posted this thread on other forums but honestly I don't want to be running around and blasting the guy. I have heard he is sick so if that's true I would feel bad. But I do want to get his attention and my money back or the J2 and at least some sort of explanation.

what bothers me is that I have done business with this guy in the past and have bought some really nice items and hate to have to be burned on something like this.

If it will help I have his personal email address if you already do not have it. Send me PM and I will give it to you. I have been in contact with him for the last 2 weeks and he has responded to every single email I have sent.

P.S. Also he has told me too that he had some medical issues a couple months ago when I first tried to get a kit from him, so maybe there is some truth to it.

Ever get anything resolved yet? I'm still waiting on my two Vash kit's from him, hopefully I will get them this week or the next... Definitely keeping a watchful eye on things...
