Darth Vader Voice

I need some help figuring out how to add "vader's voice" to my costume. I can't use a voice modulator like vortex or revo because I have a thick accent, it would be like vader being voiced by schwarzenegger. What would probably work it's a sound board with switches that I could run to my fingers and trigger pre-recorded sound and also connect the output of the board to an aker amplifier. My problem in finding that sound board is that either 1) the cables of the switches are to short to make it all the way to my fingers inside my costume or 2) the board is sold by itself and I would have to figure out how to build the rest of the system. Unfortunately I have the same knowledge and skills in electronics as a pet rock does. So my question does anyone knows where I could buy the finished sound board I need or someone that would be willing to put one together?

Hi there,

okay ... not to offend you or your accent, but that image of Darth Vader speaking with the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger was priceless hahaha ... now for a real simple solution that won't cost anything ... just raise your hand whenever someone speaks to you and make the choke gesture ... bet you a bottom dollar they will grab their throats and pretend to be ... choking ... and now I'll give the floor to the folks that might give more worthwhile suggestions . . .

That's close to what I'm looking Vidman, the only issue might b the cable length for the push buttons, It doesn't seem like it would reach all the way down to my fingers inside the costume. I could try to extend the cables, but I think i don't know if it would work

you can add as much wire to extend the buttons. they are only to trigger the corresponding sound bank so it will work no problem :)

I'm not an expert in electronics, but the longer the cable, the more resistance and the less voltage, so by expanding the lenght of the cable 4-5 times the current lenght of the cables might make the push buttons not work or cause false triggers.

OK,
the buttons are only a switch/trigger, does not matter how long the wires are. I've been working with electrical/electronics for over 43 years,,, if you know more than I do then go figure it out yourself.

I'm sorry for my rudeness but you asked and I replied with the units that can do what you want.

LOL as soon as I read that line I imagined Luke I am your farther in Arnolds voice + synthesizer heck i`m in take my cash make the voice template I`ll make Termin Vader :D.

No disrespect to the Op or his country of origin intended.

Well, if anything that video clip just goes to show you how important Vader's voice was in developing his character in the films and thank you Neoproks for posting it here:lol
